Wolves Defeat Prowlers, 5-1
The Watertown Wolves went into Saturday nights Pink in the Rink game hot. An aggressive Port Huron Prowlers team was looking to avenge their first loss of the season the night before to the Wolves.
The Wolves opened up the scoring early as Jamie Lukas scored his first professional goal, assisted by Marvin Powell and Justin Coachman. The Prowlers quickly responded with a goal from Jarrett Pfeiffer.
Deric Boudreau scored late in the first on a goal assisted by Lane King and Vladimir Port.
Marvin Powell would go on to score his first goal of the season to open up the second period. Deric Boudreau would go on to score twice more to give him his first hat trick of the season. The Wolves closed out the second period with a 5-1 lead over the Prowlers.
The third period was quiet as the team battled it out with several minor penalties. The Wolves took a 5-1 win over the Prowlers. The next time we face the Prowlers will be Friday and Saturday April 3rd and 4th in Port Huron.
